P H I L O S O P H Y

I am Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Tampa. I received my PhD in Philosophy with a Cognitive Science minor from the University of Arizona in 2008.

 

My research focuses on moral and political theory, cognitive science, metaphysics, and the philosophy of science.

​

I published my first book, Rightness as Fairness: A Moral and Political Theory, with Palgrave MacMillan in 2016.

 

My second book, Neurofunctional Prudence and Morality: A Philosophical Theory, is now available from Routledge.

​

I am a committed and inventive teacher dedicated to bringing out the best in every one of my students.
